Machine Tool Technology Program

In this program, students get hands-on learning with real-world industry equipment in manufacturing. Fundamentals learned are focused on metal and computer numerical control in processes and safety.

NIMS Metalforming Credential
NIMS CNC Lathe Operations Credential
NIMS CNC Mill Credential

*Students must pass assessments given by industry organizations to earn credentials. Some credentials may be of cost to the student.

Certificates provide the base knowledge and skills needed to be successful in the area of study, with a focus on core, technical classes only.

Degrees consist of the same focus on core, technical classes, with general education courses included. Students that pursue a degree may be able to transfer certain credits to a four-year institution upon completion.

SkillsUSA is a program that helps students develop soft skills valuable in the industry, leadership qualities, and confidence in their skills overall. This is through opportunities provided in the program, like taking on leadership roles on committees and competing in national competitions.
